Yet another Hollywood star is now a burglary victim: Hilary Duff.
TMZ reports that a thief or thieves broke into the "Younger" star's Beverly Hills home late on July 19 while the actress was out of town on vacation with her 5-year-old son, Luca Comrie, in Canada.
Hilary, 29, had been posting photos and videos from their trip on social media, which TMZ speculates could have made her home an easy target for criminals.
"Someone broke through a door, rooted around and discovered Hilary's stash. The alarm never went off," TMZ reported on July 23, adding that its sources say the thief got away with jewelry worth "hundreds of thousands of dollars."
A rep for the actress told MailOnline that the singer-actress is devastated, but is grateful no one was hurt.
"This is a scary and upsetting situation for anyone to go through, but Hilary is thankful that her family, her staff, her home and her pets are all safe," her rep explained.
"That said, she has a significant security team in place that will work with the authorities on this incident and handle security measures moving forward."
Hilary had been posting photos from her getaway for days. On July 18, she shared a pic of herself and her son on a dock with the caption, "Losing track of days. Collecting mosquito bites."
A day later — seemingly the same day she was robbed — she shared a video of herself doing a handstand flip into a lake, captioning it, "C A N A D A."
Hilary is just the latest celebrity to be victimized by thieves in 2017.
In February, Alanis Morissette's Los Angeles-area home was broken into . Crooks got away with a whopping $2 million in jewelry.
The same month, Nicki Minaj's Los Angeles mansion was burglarized. Thieves got away with about $200,000 worth of jewelry and other valuables.
March was an especially busy month for Hollywood's criminals. Reality star-turned-model Kendall Jenner was robbed of about $200,000 when a jewelry box was taken from her Los Angeles home.
Emmy Rossum was robbed of $150,000 in antique jewelry that month too, according to TMZ. It was taken by thieves who cleaned out two safes inside her home. Unfortunately, she'd left the entry codes in plain view.
Jaime Pressly came home from dinner in March to find a window had been smashed and her safe — which contained about $30,000 in jewelry and a .38 caliber revolver, TMZ reported — had been stolen.
Model Fabio also fell victim to a burglary in March: He told KCBS that his 200-pound safe was stolen. It was filled with his $127,000 gold coin collection and an $80,000 watch collection.
In May, Patti Stanger was the victim of a major burglary while staying at the Luxe Sunset Boulevard hotel. TMZ reported in July that thieves stole more than $300,000 in clothes, jewelry and purses from the reality star after breaking the lock and entering her hotel room.
The same month, someone smashed a window in Michael B. Jordan's Los Angeles home and took off with cash and jewelry. Rapper ASAP Rocky was robbed of $1.5 million in May too.
In June, crooks busted into comedian David Spade's house and took off with a safe containing about $80,000 in cash and jewelry, including a wedding band that belonged to his mom.
