In a podcast episode, Rogan, who endorsed
Donald Trump ahead of the 2024 election, rushed to share his support for the Tesla CEO.
"You f—– up and picked the wrong psychopath on the spectrum because he's going to hunt you down," Rogan said. "He's going to find out what's going on. That's good. That's good for everyone."
Many politicians are worried about Musk having access to private documents, but the former UFC commentator believes the tech tycoon doesn't have any bad intentions.
"He has $400 billion. I'm telling you, he's not going to steal your money," Rogan exclaimed. "I'm telling you that's not what he's doing."
Musk's friendship with Trump has been a cause for concern, as the former, who isn't an elected official, has been given access to government agencies and resources.
"He's a super genius that's been f—– with and when you've been f—– with by these nitwits that hide behind one of these three letter agencies, then he helps Donald Trump get into office and goes I want to find out what kind of corruption is really around," Rogan stated. "Well you f—– up."
On X, formerly known as Twitter, Musk explained his vision for the newly found entity.
"As it becomes clear that DOGE is working, you will see the long-term Treasury bill yields fall," Musk wrote on Wednesday, February 12. "And all Americans will benefit from lower interest payments on mortgages, small business debt, credit card and other loans."
On the same day, Musk and Trump spoke with Fox News about their vision for DOGE.
"The kind of things we're doing are very simple and basic," Musk said.
"For example, on Treasury, it's about making sure that payments that go out, taxpayer money that goes out, is categorized correctly and explained," he added.
According to the South African businessman, there have been several financial oversights.
"We also need to make sure that organizations on the Do Not Pay list actually don't get paid, because currently they are being paid," Musk claimed.
"These are not individual judgment decisions," he continued. "These are about simply having sensible checks and balances in the system itself to ensure that taxpayer money is spent well."
