It's complicated

Justin Hartley's new girlfriend was reportedly 'close friends' with his ex

While many are just discovering who Sofia Pernas is after pictures of her kissing Justin Hartley surfaced last week, the actor has long known about her — she's supposedly good friends with his soon-to-be ex-wife.

A source tells The Sun that Sofia and Chrishell Stause, who married Justin in 2017 after three years of dating, were "close friends for years" after meeting on the set of "The Young and the Restless" in 2016.

In fact, The Sun notes that the women often communicated on social media, "liking" and commenting on each other's pictures. The last correspondence took place in February when Chrishell liked a photo of Sofia working out in Thailand with a sword.

Justin even appeared on Sofia's Instagram page in 2016.

Over the past week, multiple outlets have quoted sources stating that the "This Is Us" star and Sofia are dating, confirmation which comes after they were seen kissing on May 29 while she dropped him off outside the Southern California Orthopedic Institute.

Justin and Chrishell's divorce was rather shocking, as the duo seemed happy and had been seen together at a Golden Globes party just one week prior. Just one day before the filing, Chrishell, who stars on the Netflix show "Selling Sunset," was wearing her ring.

In his Nov. 22 filing, Justin listed their separation date as July 8, 2019. In Chrishell's official response, she listed their separation date as Nov. 22, essentially saying they split the moment he filed, not months before as he indicated.

It's believed that the separation date squabble has to do with money. In December 2019, TMZ wrote, "the tea leaves point to some sort of [financial] deal Justin may have and [Chrishell] believes he just doesn't want her to get a piece."

During a scene on "Selling Sunset" last month, Chrishell indicated that she was blindsided by the divorce filing.

A new delay

Angelina Jolie's new move in 4-year Brad Pitt divorce case is stall tactic: Report

Is Angelina Jolie trying to hold up her ongoing divorce case with Brad Pitt — which has already dragged on for almost four years — because things aren't going her way?

Richard Shotwell/Invision/AP/Shutterstock

That's what a source close to the legal proceedings is claiming in light of the news that the actress-humanitarian has requested to disqualify the private judge handling their divorce case.

On Aug. 10, Angelina filed to get Judge John W. Ouderkirk — the private judge she and Brad hired to oversee their legal split as well as child custody and money issues, in order to maintain more privacy regarding personal and financial information — taken off their case. She alleges he's not been "forthcoming enough" about other cases he's been hired to work on that have ties to one of Brad's lawyers, Anne C. Kiley.

The filing complains that the judge "failed to disclose the cases that demonstrated the current, ongoing, repeat-customer relationship between the judge and Respondent's counsel," Page Six reported, and that Brad's team wants the judge to remain.

A source close to the case characterizes Angelina's move as "a delay tactic," Page Six writes in a new report, "because she believed things weren't going in her favor."

Brad and Angelina were granted a bifurcated judgment in 2019, which means they're legally single and able to remarry should they desire, but custody and financial issues remain. The source told Page Six that it's these issues – a permanent custody agreement concerning their five children under 18 (eldest son Maddox is now an adult) and Angelina's request for more child support from Brad — that are at issue.

"This is about how much time Brad gets with the kids, how does sharing time with the kids work…" the source told Page Six.

"Jolie is basically trying to fire the private judge overseeing their divorce case. She has every right to do this, but if she thought she was in a good place in this legal proceeding, she wouldn't need to do it," the source explained to Page Six. "This is a classic case of someone expecting a bad decision trying to delay the process by asking for a new referee."

According to the source, her move is an "unusual" one because Angelina is now involving a public court in what they'd long sought to keep private, and it also serves to delay anything moving forward. "This divorce has been going on for four years, for goodness' sake," the source added.

Robert Irwin reacts to sister Bindi's news he's to be an uncle

On Aug. 11, conservationist and TV star Bindi Irwin, 22, revealed that she and her husband of four and a half months, Chandler Powell, 23, are expecting their first baby. "Baby Wildlife Warrior due 2021," she captioned a photo on Instagram.

An hour later, brother Robert Irwin took to social media to share his joy upon learning he's to be an uncle. "The most exciting news ever! I am so happy for Bindi and Chandler to be welcoming a new member of the family. I can't believe I'm going to be an uncle!!!" Robert, 16, captioned an Instagram photo of his family showing Bindi holding up a mini Australia Zoo uniform.

"It's such a happy time for our family – I look forward to this brilliant new chapter and all the fun adventures ahead with a new little Wildlife Warrior!" added Robert, a talented photographer who, like Bindi, Chandler and their mom, Terri Irwin, works at the zoo that came to fame under the direction of their late father, "Crocodile Hunter" star Steve Irwin.

Bindi took to the comments to praise her baby brother. "You're going to be the best uncle!! Baby and I love you! ☺️," Bindi wrote.

Mom Terri took to Twitter to share her elation too, calling it "the best day ever!" Terri gushed that the news that she's to be a grandmother has left her "over the moon.  She added, "Words cannot express the love that is filling my heart. While I wish that Steve was here to share this beautiful moment, I know that he would be so proud."

Bindi and Chandler, who married in March 2020 at the zoo in a scaled-back wedding due to the coronavirus pandemic, earlier explained that though Bindi is "still in my first trimester," they wanted to share their happy news now because "we really want you to be part of our journey from the beginning of this new life chapter," they wrote on Instagram.

They added, "We couldn't wait to share the news as this beautiful little being has become the most important part of our lives. Your support means the world to us. Please let me know your best advice and send good vibes & prayers to our little sweetheart. Love & light. ❤️

Portia de Rossi says embattled Ellen DeGeneres is 'doing great'

Amid the allegations of bad behavior and ongoing drama surrounding her talk show, Ellen DeGeneres is "doing great," her wife says.

Shutterstock

On Monday, Page Six published a video in which Portia de Rossi gaves a quick update on her embattled wife while out and about in Santa Barbara, California. The video was reportedly filmed the previous day.

Portia, ever the supportive wife, remained low-key in a scarf and hat while a paparazzo asked her about Ellen's state of mind.

"Doing great," Portia said.

The videographer then pressed Portia on the future of "The Ellen DeGeneres Show." When directly asked whether Ellen is continuing on with the eponymous daytime talk show, Portia said, "Yes, she is."

Jordan Strauss/Invision/AP/Shutterstock

This is all fairly new ground for Ellen, who appears to be the embodiment of positivity and kindness on her show. However, for months she's been hit with allegations that she's demeaning toward staff and has created a toxic work environment

There have also been reports that her show was on verge on being canceled as it grappled with low ratings — its lowest ratings ever, actually.

As allegations of less-than-flattering behavior poured in, WarnerMedia launched an internal investigation into conditions at "The Ellen DeGeneres Show." WarnerMedia, which owns Warner Bros. Television, the distributor of Ellen's show, sent a memo to staffers indicating that current and former employees would be asked about their experiences on set. The interviews will be conducted by WarnerMedia's employee relations group and a third party firm.

On July 30, Ellen broke her silence to her staff, apologizing for unspecified transgressions and promising to "correct the issues."

In Ellen's letter, she explained that she's now realized the show hadn't been "a place of happiness" for some staffers.

"As we've grown exponentially, I've not been able to stay on top of everything and relied on others to do their jobs as they knew I'd want them done. Clearly some didn't. That will now change and I'm committed to ensuring this does not happen again," she wrote.

After referencing the struggles she faced after coming out as a gay woman in the '90s, she said, "It's been way too long, but we're finally having conversations about fairness and justice. We all have to be more mindful about the way our words and actions affect others, and I'm glad the issues at our show were brought to my attention. I promise to do my part in continuing to push myself and everyone around me to learn and grow. It's important to me and to Warner Bros. that everyone who has something to say can speak up and feels safe doing so."

Rough ride

Simon Cowell's e-bike was banned on U.K. open roads

The electric bike that Simon Cowell crashed over the weekend, which resulted in him breaking his back, was outlawed on the open road in the United Kingdom because of its capability to reach high speeds.

The bike, a Swind EB-01, is advertised as "the world's most powerful and most advanced electric bicycle in the market." Page Six notes that that particular e-bike exceeds the legal speed limit in the U.K. and has more than 250 watts of power. It is only legal to be used in private, closed areas, for sporting activities and on designated routes.

The "America's Got Talent" judge was at his home in California at the time of the accident.

Due to its potential to reach high speeds, riders are urged to take precautions and wear protective clothing when riding the $20,000 bike.

According to witnesses of Simon's accident, speed was a factor, as he was allegedly thrown in the air after the bike did a "giant wheelie."

"He did a turn in his courtyard, changed gear, and then the bike went into a wheelie and threw him off the back," a source told Page Six. "Simon was in complete agony and was stretchered out of his home and taken in an ambulance to hospital."

"Friends at the scene quickly checked that he could move fingers and toes… When he fell off the bike, he landed right on his back, which broke in a number of places," the source continued. "He had to have a metal rod inserted into his back."

Doctors said he narrowly missed severing his spinal cord, Page Six reported.

On Sunday, Simon addressed the crash on Twitter.

"Some good advice… If you buy an electric trail bike, read the manual before you ride it for the first time," he wrote. "I have broken part of my back. Thank you to everyone for your kind messages."

In a follow-up message, he wrote, "And a massive thank you to all the nurses and doctors. Some of the nicest people I have ever met. Stay safe everyone. Simon."

Despite the fact that Tim tagged Faith in the photo, it seems that many of his 2.7 million followers thought the photo was actually of the couple's 23-year-old daughter Gracie McGraw, who actually took the photo.

"Mmmm…so sweet y'all think this is our daughter, however it IS Faith," Tim commented, ending the mystery.

Ever the loving husband, he added, "I'm the lucky one!"

Needless to say, fans were impressed with the 52-year-old mother of three.

"I thought it was one of your daughters too! Faith is timeless! Y'all are lucky and blessed," one fan replied to Tim. Another wrote, "Fooled me!! She looks young as heck!"

Several fans — who may or may not have been fooled — simply commented on Faith's timeless beauty.

"She never ages!!" one fan wrote of the five-time Grammy winner.

Tim and Faith, who share three daughters, will celebrate their 25th anniversary next year.

Custody issue

Tracy Morgan's estranged wife asking for sole custody of daughter

Tracy Morgan's estranged wife is asking the court to grant her sole legal and physical custody of their daughter.

Megan Wollover also wants Tracy to pay her alimony as agreed upon in their prenuptial agreement, according to court records obtained by Page Six.

The couple's prenup was signed on Aug. 5, 2015.

The "30 Rock" star announced late last month that he and Megan are splitting.

"Sadly, after nearly five years of marriage, Megan and I are filing for divorce. This is a challenging time for all involved, so I ask that you please respect our privacy," he said in a statement.

Megan, though, wants more than just privacy, asking that Tracy pay her legal fees and continue to financially support their 7-year-old daughter, Maven Sonae.

In Tracy's response, he's asking for joint legal and shared residential custody of Maven, and he's pleading the court to allocate parenting time "in the best interests" of the girl.

Tracy and Megan married just 14 months after his near-fatal car accident in which a Walmart truck slammed into the actor's limousine on a New Jersey freeway. Tracy ended up suing Walmart and reportedly settled for $90 million.

Kane Brown explains how he got lost in his own backyard

Kane Brown needs a compass.

The country singer took to Facebook recently to explain how he got lost in his own backyard and had to call police to rescue him.

Chelsea Lauren/Shutterstock

"Someone help! I'm lost," the "Good As You" singer wrote, as he's now able to joke about the experience. "The real story is I moved into a new house. I own 30 acres of 3000 around me. I told my wife I wanted to go check out the property."

Before exploring the grounds with a friend and his girlfriend, Kane, 26, told his wife that he'd be back within 30 minutes.

"30 minutes turned into 3 hours. It started raining, turned dark and dropped to 40 degrees," he said, noting that he was just wearing shorts and a T-shirt. "I left my phone on the back of my truck. My friend's [phone battery] was on 7%."

AFF-USA/REX/Shutterstock

The trio used GPS to try and get back home, but they were continually taken to some nearby cliffs. Not about to leave his friends, Kane called another pal who lived nearby. It's then that the story took another turn, a dangerous one.

"He finds me with his buddy and now 3 turned into 5 of us lost," Kane said. "He has 4 other friends riding around in [an ATV] and they start getting shot at. My buddy's girl who has asthma started then freaking out. We HAD to get her out. So we call the cops."

Upon arrival, police heard the gun shots but thought Kane and Co. were firing at them.

"We yell at them and tell them we are not armed and made it out," Kane said. "That's the story but I love the getting lost in my back yard better."

Maybe it's possible to get "homesick" at home…

Pricey car

Inside Sly Stallone's customized $350K Cadillac Escalade that's for sale

Here's your chance to have the life of Sly.

Less than a year after purchasing his 2019 Cadillac Escalade, Sylvester Stallone is ready to unload the car. However, the SUV is very, very far from ordinary.

Becker Automotive Design, which is handling the sale, customized the vehicle and brought it up to Sly's standards, and it is impressive. TMZ reports the "Rocky" star personally designed the interior.

The Becker 20" Stretched Cadillac Escalade ESV is equipped with a 43-inch LCD smart TV, but there are also 12-inch LCD screens for rear-facing passengers. The car is Internet-equipped and has two SIM cards from different carriers so that connection is always stable and reliable.

The chairs have built-in massagers and can be temperature controlled. In addition, the windows have electric curtains and two rear bucket seats have electric leg rests.

"I ordered my Becker ESV for a specific purpose, however, my requirement for it has recently changed and I no longer have a need for this beautiful vehicle," Sly said. "The on-board electronics and ride quality are second to none. I hope the new owner gets years of fulfilling use from this sensationally appointed Becker Cadillac ESV."

The SUV is essentially new — it only has 1,000 miles on it.

How much is this car going for? The asking price is a cool $350,000… and that's actually a pretty big discount from Sly's fee. TMZ reports he dropped $408,000 on the car.
