A man accused of stalking Katy Perry is being deported, TMZ reported on Jan. 25.
Police reportedly picked up the 37-year-old, who hails from Poland, after he tried to rush the stage through a security area during Katy's concert at American Airlines Arena in Miami in December 2017.
Cops discover that the obsessed fan had been to at least six of the "Dark Horse" hit-maker's shows in different cities over the course of 20 days and that he attempted to contact her at each stop.
According to TMZ, when police asked the man if he would harm the singer, he replied that he'd "do whatever it takes" to be with her.
He also reportedly told cops that while he was in Chicago, he secretly followed Katy to a steakhouse to surprise her.
Prosecutors in Miami-Dade County told TMZ that a court found the man guilty of felony aggravated stalking, misdemeanor loitering and resisting arrest.
He's now being processed for deportation.
Katy isn't the only pop superstar who's struggled with crazed fans in 2018: On Jan. 18, TMZ published excerpts from a 122-page indictment against an alleged Taylor Swift stalker, which reveal the terrifying threats he made against her and her family.
The man accused of stalking the "Shake It Off" singer reportedly sent death threats to Taylor's father via email between May 2015 and October 2016. (He allegedly threatened to kill Taylor, her parents and her brother, model-actor Austin Swift.)
"Decided that we are going to end all the Swifts on one day because I can't stand that virus s— your daughter spread," read one email.
The man was arrested in Austin, Texas, in 2016 after he was caught following Taylor, who already had a restraining order against him.
His charges now reportedly include violating a restraining order and stalking.
It's clearly a scary time for two of pop's brightest stars!
