Sam Hunt is facing the music for his DUI arrest in Nashville, Tenn., but he won't be locked up.
The country superstar was arrested in November 2019 after being pulled over for driving erratically. While taking a field sobriety test, it was determined that he was twice the legal limit.

On Aug. 18, Sam appeared before a judge via Zoom and pleaded guilty to two counts of DUI. As part of a plea deal, the "Break Up in a Small Town" singer was sentenced to 11 months and 29 days in jail, but he won't be behind bars as long as he keeps his nose clean.
TMZ, who posted video of the court hearing, reported that Sam is also avoiding a short jail stint by taking a DUI education course.
As part of the plea deal, the singer will also have his driver's license suspended for a month, and he's required to take an alcohol safety course.
When Sam is allowed to drive again, he'll have an interlock device installed in his car to make sure he's sober.

At the time of Sam's arrest, WKRN-TV said the crooner was swerving in and out of his lane and driving the wrong way down a road. Police said Sam even handed them a credit card and passport when they asked for his driver's license. TMZ claimed Sam's ID was "openly sitting on his lap" as he searched for it.
Sam later apologized for the incident two days later.
"I decided to drive myself home after drinking at a friend's show in downtown Nashville," he tweeted. "It was a poor and selfish decision and I apologize to everyone who was unknowingly put at risk and let down by it. It won't happen again."
