Marco Rubio's new employees had some strong thoughts about him that he once shared with the entire world.
According to social media posts unearthed by
CNN, State Department official
Darren Beattie reportedly deleted numerous tweets ridiculing his boss and the current
Secretary of State for certifying the 2020 election results to confirm former President
Joe Biden and condemning the January 6, 2021, riot at the Capital.

"Forget the war promotion and the neocon sugar daddies, forget the low IQ, forget the 2016 primary, Rubio is TOUGH ON CHINA (and good for military industrial complex). So be a good DOG and vote for him!!!" Darren Beattie reportedly wrote on X on January 7, 2021, of Marco Rubio's lack of support for
Donald Trump.
The government employee continued to take aim at the politician from
Florida on the same day, adding, "Does Marco Rubio have a future in politics?"

In other messages, Darren Beattie reportedly continued to spread false theories about Marco Rubio's sexuality and his personal life.
After the tweets were discovered, the conservative author gave a statement to CNN about his current feelings about Rubio and his work in Donald Trump's administration: "Secretary
Rubio is 100% America First and it's a tremendous honor to work for him in advancing President Trump's world historical agenda," he said on Monday, March 10.

In February, Marco Rubio was asked about Darren Beattie's old social media posts but quickly shut down the conversation: "OK, thank you, guys," the
right-wing politician said, abruptly ending the press conference.

Beattie has a rocky political history, especially after he was fired from his speechwriting job in Donald Trump's first administration in 2018.

Elon Musk and the former senator reportedly got into a heated exchange during a Cabinet meeting on Thursday, March 6.
The two men were reportedly at odds over the tech mogul's role in the government. The argument allegedly escalated to Musk calling Rubio "just good on TV."
