President Donald Trump is getting a new set of wheels.The commander-in-chief took to his Truth Social account on Tuesday, March 11, to promise to buy a Telsa vehicle to support his right-hand man Elon Musk as people have called for a boycott of the company due to the tech mogul's controversial actions with DOGE.

"To Republicans, Conservatives and all great Americans, Elon Musk is 'putting it on the line' in order to help our Nation and he is doing a FANTASTIC JOB!" Donald Trump raved about Elon Musk in the update.However, the right-wing leader then took aim at Democrats for protesting the business after mass government layoffs. "But the Radical Left Lunatics, as they often do, are trying to illegally and collusively boycott Tesla, one of the World's great automakers and Elon's 'baby,' in order to attack and do harm to Elon and everything he stands for," he added.

Due to Donald Trump and Elon Musk's questionable actions with DOGE, Telsa's stocks have taken a hit in recent months.According to research by the Jato Dynamics firm via the Associated Press, the car company's sales plunged 45 percent in Europe in January and in many other places around the world. There were also reports of buying rates dropping drastically in California.

The outlet spoke with Telsa buyers to see what they thought of Elon Musk's political standings. "I don't even want to drive it," left-leaning Model 3 owner John Parnell from California explained. "He's destroying the brand with his politics."Others feel that the X owner failed to realize that his role in Donald Trump's administration could deeply affect his companies.
