According to Mediaite, Trump declared "a star is born" when asked about Leavitt at a recent White House event.
The Wall Street Journal reported Leavitt shared that she tries to "listen as much as possible" to what the president says in order to "articulate his message as effectively as possible."
Ari Fleischer, who was
George W. Bush's spokesman, noticed how well Leavitt understands the real estate tycoon.
"She speaks Donald Trump fluently. She knows his ins and outs. She knows what to say, what not to say. And she's comfortable," Fleischer told
Wall Street Journal.
Before becoming the youngest White House press secretary in history, Leavitt, 27, was a key member of Trump's 2024 campaign.
"The president literally put his life on the line to win this election," she told Conservateur after Trump was shot at during a rally. "The least I could do is get back to work quickly."
Before transitioning into the
White House, Leavitt announced she was grateful for the opportunity.
"Thank you President Trump for believing in me," the mom-of-one wrote in a November Instagram post. "
Thank you to my family and friends for always supporting me."
Although Leavitt is a powerful figure in D.C., she continues to prioritize motherhood.
"Thank you to my son for humbling me, and serving as a constant reminder of what's most important," she penned. "Thank you God for everything."
"Let's MAGA," the blonde concluded, referencing Trump's signature phrase.
