"We're putting up a beautiful, almost 100-foot-tall American flag on this side and another one on the other side, two flags, top of the line," Donald Trump told reporters on Wednesday, April 23, according to the New York Post._
Donald Trump thinks there are a few crucial adjustments that have to be made to the White House lawns."They needed flagpoles for 200 years. It was something I've often said, you know, they don't have a flagpole, per se," he said. "So we're putting one right where you saw us, and we're putting another one on the other side, on top of the mounds. It's going to be two beautiful poles — paid for by Trump!"
The president added that the items will arrive next week.

Donald Trump, who is a real estate developer, also suggested making a White House ballroom comparable to the one at Mar-a-Lago.He revealed he mentioned the $100 million concept to Joe Biden and his team but "never heard back."
But now that he's back in office, he will propose it himself so there can be "more room" to have ceremonies without a big tent.
