They Know Too Much
Donald Trump is known to weaponize lawsuits and the legal process against his critics, but Jon Stewart doesn't envision the real estate tycoon giving Elon Musk the same treatment. "I think they know enough about each other," Stewart said on his "The Weekly Show" podcast. "But he's been quiet lately, don't you think?" producer Brittany Mehmedovic asked.
Why Wouldn't Trump Sue?
"No question, I think, but he's still got his lovely social media platform, which is MechaHitler-ing all over people's timelines so it's still a … net positive for humanity," Jon Stewart snarked to Brittany Mehmedovic. "I cannot for the life of me think why Trump wouldn't sue Elon [Musk] for 'Trump is in the Epstein files,'" Stewart continued before saying that Trump is "so clearly all over" the Jeffrey Epstein files.
SpaceX About Face
During their disagreement, Donald Trump threatened to cut the government contracts Elon Musk's SpaceX receives. ″They're like, 'Actually, we can't. There's no one else that can launch a satellite — we can't use NASA because we cut their funding to a point where they are a nonfunctioning organization, like we're gutting the very government that would give us options,'" Jon Stewart noted.
