The custody war between Oscar-winning actress Halle Berry and male model Gabriel Aubry has gone to the next level amid charges of racism.
The famous biological parents of 2½-year-old daughter Nahla are in opposing corners of a dispute inevitably gone public due to the high profile of mom and dad.
The most explosive allegation surfacing in reports is one of racism after Aubry was accused of using the "N" word. RadarOnline.com quotes a source close to Aubry as saying that he has never heard Gabriel use the "N" word and can't imagine him doing so. While a source maintains to ET the allegation is true, Aubry has not responded to ET regarding the accusation.
Other reports claim Halle has left Aubry angry emails, text messages and voicemails. A rep for Berry had no comment.
The latest salvo in the war of words comes from People.com, quoting an unnamed source as saying young Nahla was "traumatized" after a visit with her father. The report details alleged episodes of the child crying hysterically when Aubrey came to pick her up for a visit. Berry's publicist had no comment on the People.com report and Aubry's reps have yet to respond.
