Lady Gaga is usually the one making other people's jaws drop. But on Friday, March 28 -- the singer's 28th birthday -- she was the one in for a shock.
On the same day she kicked off a seven-day residency at New York City's legendary Roseland Ballroom, which will soon be shutting its doors, Gaga's boyfriend Taylor Kinney showed up to help her celebrate her birthday.
"Another amazing birthday moment," she tweeted, along with a tender black-and-white photo of the "Chicago Fire" actor, 32, kissing her "I love surprises!"
Gaga also spent time that night with pal James Franco, who wished her a happy birthday and shared a snapshot of the two of them horsing around with one of Gaga's costumes backstage.
The outspoken birthday girl also shared a photo of a lavish-looking spread of gifts from boss and friend Donatella Versace (Gaga is a spokesmodel for the iconic fashion brand).
But that wasn't the end of the outrageous performer's b-day celebrations. The following night, March 29, she and Kinney went to see Franco, 35, perform in "Of Mice and Men" on Broadway -- leaving their host absolutely thrilled. "LADY GAGA CAME AND LOVED IT! OF MICE AND MEN!!! COME!" Franco urged his fans afterward while sharing a photo of himself mugging backstage with Gaga. Gaga, meanwhile, showed off the "puppy purse" she wore to the play via her own social media and said she had "a lovely time."
"Thank you so much for all my beautiful birthday wishes," she Tweeted her fans after two days of celebrating the big 2-8. "I feel like [the] luckiest girl in the world this birthday."
