What is the most profound thing that you learned from your accident?
"The most important thing is realizing what's most important in life. I've learned to slow down and spend more time with my loved ones, even if I'm doing something. Just telling my mom, 'We'll go to Australia, I don't have to be away from you all the time.' That's what matters most to me in my life: people that I love and the stuff that I love doing most! I love being in the studio without the pressures of the label, so this whole recording experience has been different, because I don't have a deadline and that means less pressure. Now, I'm just going back to basics, because I love doing it and not because I'm looking for the next single."
