Miley Cyrus kicks off 'Bangerz' tour with shocking costumes, wild onstage antics
By Chris Gardner
She can't stop! Not until April 24 anyway.
Miley Cyrus kicked off her buzzworthy "Bangerz" tour on Friday night in Vancover, and the debut delivered exactly what you might expect: generous twerking, risque costumes, furry back-up dancers, butt-slapping and a parental advisory warning. Oh yeah, and Miley's tongue grabs its fair share of the spotlight.
The "We Can't Stop" singer has been teasing elements of the tour on social media for several weeks. Now that the Miley train is officially on the tracks, fans and critics can finally get an up-close and personal look at what "Bangerz" has to offer. (Idolator for one, was sold on Miley's shtick, calling opening night "a weird and wonderful acid trip of a concert.")
The 38-date tour wraps on April 24 in Long Island, N.Y. We've rounded up some of the most eye-popping looks from opening night, so keep clicking to check 'em out ...
