For a gal who supposedly overdosed and died a few days ago, Miley Cyrus sure looks good.
The self-appointed queen of twerk fell prey to an Internet death hoax over the weekend after a Facebook scam claimed "Country singer Miley Cyrus found overdosed this afternoon in her Los Angeles home." Since Miley had been unusually quiet on Twitter for a few days, many of those fans assumed the news was true -- until news outlets began reporting on Monday that the headline had been part of a Facebook scam.
In lieu of an official statement of her good health -- and because nothing confirms proof of a heartbeat like a topless selfie -- Miley shared a handful of new photos on Instagram later that day, including this image of the singer's Daisy Dukes-clad topless bod giving a double peace sign salute to the desert.
Another selfie series features Miley rocking multi-colored braids adorned with a tiny picture of her late dog, Floyd. A third image highlights the singer's artful approach to hiding a zit -- by sticking a plastic butterfly to her face over the offending mark, a look she apparently kept on while hanging out with her pal, director Brett Ratner.
Most of the pics also involve Miley's tongue, which appears to be in its now de rigeur, out and about position -- another sign that everything is a-OK in Miley's world.
