When he wasn't playing arm candy to Lindsay Lohan and Hilary Duff, Nick Carter's brother, Aaron, spent the '90s making sweet, sweet music … like that single from "Pokemon: The First Movie." Well, hold onto your hair gel, ladies, 'cause Aaron Carter is hitting the road again. He'll be performing hits from his albums, "Aaron's Party" and the memorable follow-up, "Oh, Aaron," and he really can't say enough about the timelessness of tracks like "The Clapping Song (Clap Pat Clap Slap)."
"They're amazing songs, and you know, hundreds of thousands of people still talk about those songs all the time, so they must have had an impact on people's lives, and I'm very excited to be able to play those songs," he tells NewsHouse. The musical mastermind will also be performing new material, which he described thusly: "Oh, hip-hop, it would be fun and it would be party. Fun and dance. Fun, dance and hip-hop." In sum, he says the After the Party Tour "is basically the sequel to 'Aaron's Party' without the parents." And, hopefully, without the rehab. (Jezebel)
