Ahh-nie's New Book Details Affair With Mildred Baena
Apparently, there's no German equivalent for the idiom about adding insult to injury. On Oct. 1, Arnold Schwarzenegger will release his memoir, "Total Recall: My Unbelievably True Life Story." Ya know what's funny about his titular reference to a movie that came out in the '90s? The fact that his secret love child with the family housekeeper also came out in the '90s -- well, out of the womb, anyway. The new book will reportedly detail Ahh-nie's adulterous relationship with Mildred Baena, a move that Daily Beast writer Laurence Leamer believes is calculated to help thrust him (sorry) back into the spotlight. Although even excerpts of the book remain embargoed, Learner reports that Schwarzenegger's ex, Maria Shriver, does not condone his decision to reveal all the gory details that broke up their family. He also claims that Shriver initially sought marital counseling after learning of the affair -- but Schwarzenegger chose not to pursue it. (DailyBeast)
