Patti LaBelle Settles After Fracas With Woman and Toddler
Sounds like someone could use a "New Attitude" of the non-Billboard Chart variety. Patti LaBelle is forking over $100,000 to a woman who threatened to sue over an alleged outburst in an apartment building on New York's Upper West Side. Roseanna Monk claims that LaBelle went ballistic over the fact that Monk's 18-month-old daughter was "playing near the lobby door" of the building, the New York Post reports. According to Monk, LaBelle dropped an F-bomb in Monk's direction, soaked her in the contents of her water bottle and called her a "C U Next Tuesday," if you catch our drift. When Monk, who was pregnant at the time, confronted the singer for upsetting her toddler, LaBelle allegedly had to be restrained by her bodyguards. Last year, LaBelle declared that Monk and her child were "more than 50 percent at fault" for the showdown. (NYP)
