As if going through a custody battle weren't enough, Usher suffered another blow when his stepson, Tameka's son Kile Glover, was declared brain dead after he was struck in the head by a Jet Ski while riding an inner tube on Lake Lanier in Atlanta. He was taken off life support and died on July 21. "I miss Kile," Usher told Oprah Winfrey. "We cooked together, we laughed, we sang. He loved to sing and dance. He loved to tell jokes."
Kile's death came on the heels of the June release of "Looking 4 Myself," the singer's seventh studio album and fourth No. 1 debut in a row.
