Just call 'em "Bluke." For the second year in a row, Blake Shelton and Luke Bryan put competition aside and teamed up to host the 2014 ACMs -- and they brought their A-game. "They actually let Blake and I add two [jokes] that we wrote ourselves," Luke marveled during GAC's ACMs red carpet pre-show. "You can't get up there and be bad," he added, so "we're going to try to knock it out of the park."
They kept it funny and (mostly) classy while still getting in a few digs. After praising the show for its dedication to live music, Blake unleashed this zinger during their show opener: "If you don't like live music, then you need to go down the block and see Britney Spears." D'oh! Luke kept up joke for joke, and delivered the last word of their opening segment -- at Blake's expense. It went down like this: Luke asked Blake if his worst nightmare would be beating out wife Miranda Lambert for Entertainer of the Year, and Blake responded with a laugh, "As far as Miranda's concerned I'm already entertainer of the year." Luke: "More like entertainer of the minute -- and I'm spottin' you 30 seconds!" Ouch!
