Donald Trump took to his Truth Social account to go on a rant about one of his arch-nemeses: Rosie O'Donnell."Because of the fact that Rosie O'Donnell is not in the best interests of our great country, I am giving serious consideration to taking away her citizenship," he wrote on the social media platform. "She is a threat to humanity and should remain in the wonderful country of Ireland, if they want her. GOD BLESS AMERICA!"
The Harriet the Spy actress seemed to respond to the threat. O'Donnell collaborated with an Instagram account in which the caption read, "Celebrities have enough from @potus. Who will go to Europe next? @rosie a warm welcome in Europe. I hope you find your luck here."
In an additional update shared to Instagram, O'Donnell added, "Hey Donald — you're rattled again? 18 years later and I still live rent-free in that collapsing brain of yours. You call me a threat to humanity — but I'm everything you fear. A loud woman a queer woman a mother who tells the truth an American who got out of the country b4 u set it ablaze."
"You want to revoke my citizenship?" she continued. "Go ahead and try, King Joffrey with a tangerine spray tan. I'm not yours to silence. I never was."

Rosie O'Donnell and Donald Trump have been publicly sparring since 2006 when the businessman condemned Miss USA Tara Conner for alleged underage drinking and drug use."He annoys me on a multitude of levels. [He] left the first wife, had an affair, left the second wife, had an affair, had kids both times, but he's the moral compass for 20-year-olds in America," the comedian said about Trump during an episode of The View at the time.

Donald Trump has attacked Rosie O'Donnell on multiple occasions over the years, even going after her looks."Rosie O'Donnell just said she felt 'shame' at being fat-not politically correct! She killed Star Jones for weight loss surgery, just had it!" the right-winger claimed in a 2014 X post.
During a presidential debate in 2016, Trump addressed his contentious dynamic with the 63-year-old. "Rosie O'Donnell — I said very tough things to her and I think everybody would agree that she deserves it and nobody feels sorry for her," he said.

In a video shared on Instagram earlier this year, Rosie O'Donnell explained why she fled America after Donald Trump returned to the White House in January."It has been heartbreaking to see what is happening over there politically and hard for me personally as well," she explained. "When you know it is safe for all citizens to have equal rights there in America, that's when we will consider coming back. I encourage everyone to stand up, to use their voice, to protest, to demand that we follow the constitution in our country and not a king and not a man and we don't have cruelty as part of our governing style. Protect your sanity as much as you can, and try not to swim in the chaos, if possible. But I know it's nearly impossible when you're there in the middle of it."
