The original animated
Cinderella hit screens in 1950. In 1957, the Rodgers and Hammerstein production starring
Julie Andrews made waves on Broadway. Disney previously adapted the composers' version of the tale. In 1997,
Whitney Houston and
Brandy costarred in the television movie as the fairy godmother and Cinderella, respectively. Famous tunes from the show include "Impossible," "Ten Minutes Ago" and "In My Own Little Corner."

Most recently, Camila Cabello, Billy Porter and Idina Menzel starred in a 2021 musical version of Cinderella for Prime Video. However, the updated version was a vast departure from the original Disney film and the Broadway show. The flick incorporated songs by Janet Jackson, Madonna and a track written by the "Senorita" singer: "Million to One."
