Donald Trump is continuing to go after late-night hosts.After Paramount announced the cancelation of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert as the company seeks the Republican leader's sign-off for their merger with Skydance, Trump took to Truth Social to threaten to take away Jimmy Kimmel and Jimmy Fallon's platforms.

Donald Trump slammed Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel and Stephen Colbert in a lengthy Truth Social update."The word is and it's a strong word at that, Jimmy Kimmel is NEXT to go in the untalented late-night sweepstakes and shortly thereafter, (Jimmy) Fallon will be gone," he wrote on social media. "These are people with absolutely NO TALENT, who were paid millions of dollars for, in all cases, destroying what used to be GREAT television. It's really good to see them go and I hope I played a major part in it!"

Jimmy Kimmel has been an outspoken critic of Donald Trump since his first term in the White House.Although the funnyman is currently on vacation from ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Kimmel took to Instagram to fire back at the businessman's threat by sharing a photo of his family at an anti-Trump protest while alluding to his alleged ties to Jeffrey Epstein.
"May every day be another wonderful secret," Kimmel captioned the post while referencing the alleged note Trump wrote to the late s** offender.

While Jimmy Fallon hasn't been as political as his peers, he was present in the audience at Stephen Colbert's first broadcast back after the shocking cancelation news."I am your host. Well, at least for tonight," the Saturday Night Live alum told his audience during a recent episode of NBC's The Tonight Show. "I don't like what's going on one bit. These are crazy times. CBS could lose millions of viewers, plus tens of hundreds watching on Paramount+."

The contention with Donald Trump and late-night hosts stems from CBS and Paramount's claim that their decision to end Stephen Colbert's show was "purely a financial decision against a challenging backdrop in late night," despite the series drawing 2.42 million viewers between April and June.According to the research, Jimmy Kimmel Live! averaged 1.77 million viewers while Jimmy Fallon's The Tonight Show averaged 1.19 million viewers.
