Prince Louis is just 7, but he's already earned a reputation for being a bit of a jokester. He's known to make funny faces in public, often sticking out his tongue for the cameras at formal events — a move his uncle Prince Harry was known to pull. Louis' playful spirit was also on display during VE Day celebrations in London in May when he was caught on camera apparently teasing his older brother, Prince George. After the second in line to the British throne was seen brushing his hair back from his forehead, Louis copied the move — but with a dramatic flourish. It was remarkably reminiscent of an interaction between Harry and Prince William during their teen years…

In 2005, Prince Harry was seen teasing Prince William during King Charles III and Queen Camilla's wedding. According to forensic lip reader Khalil Anwar, William complained to Harry that his hair was "a right mess." Harry replied, "Woah, it's gone like that!" while laughing and gesturing wildly. Anwar said on Channel 5's Lipreading the Royals: The Secret Conversations that Harry then attempted to reassure his brother, telling William, "No, it's okay. It's alright."

"We see the brotherly nature of their relationship here," Khalil Anwar said. "They do have the normal banter that all brothers do have, and they're allowed to have the odd dig and poke at each other."

Historian Dr. Tessa Dunlop pointed out how the moment between Prince William and Prince Harry is especially significant considering the future king is now going bald. "William with hair, I mean, now that's a bit of a novelty," she said. "I think one of the reasons [his hair was] a bit wayward is because it's clearly falling out, isn't it? It's a bit thin. … He's realizing he's having a bad hair day and Harry's loving it."

While Prince Louis reminds many of Prince Harry, he might've inherited his sense of humor from the late Queen Elizabeth II. "The Queen's stern look, inherited from her grandmother Queen Mary, belies the wonderful sense of humor we got to see more and more as she got older," Ingrid Seward wrote in her 2023 book My Mother And I. "The Queen could be extremely funny, in a slightly mocking way. … She was also a first-class mimic, particularly of politicians, but never to anyone's face. She could only laugh or state her opinions in private, and some of them were pretty forceful."
