In a video shared to
X from the royals' Christmas walkabout at Sandringham, Princess Anne was given flowers by an onlooker. "Princess Anne, may I give you these?" the anonymous person asked the Princess Royal.
"Are you sure?" Anne asked.
"You're first to me every year," the fan told her.

Social media users were charmed by how humble Princess Anne is. "We need to show Princess Anne more love," one X user wrote.
"Princess Anne definitely deserves more recognition," a second person said.
"She's all that is right with royalty. A good lady," a third added.
"More flowers for Princess Anne. She's fabulous and needs more acknowledgement. I believe it is her who is the one holding the royal family together," a fourth noted.

Princess Anne was compared to her late mother, Queen Elizabeth II, for their shared commitment to The Firm. "Pity she wasn't born first. Out of them all, I think she's most like the late Queen," one X user penned.
"She always been underrated BUT her duty during the late Queen's journey and funeral was outstanding," a second said.
"It would have been better if she had succeeded Queen Elizabeth," a third added.
