Jeffrey Epstein victim Virginia Giuffre accused Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor of assault, further damaging the former duke's image. While Mountbatten-Windsor has denied the claims, her posthumous memoir pushed him further out of the royal fold.
Now, "he's coming to terms with the fact he's lost everything that mattered to him: his status, his position in the Royal family and military, and to a lesser extent, a fractured family," the source said.
