Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and Sarah Ferguson were forced to take a step back from their duties after their friendship with Jeffrey Epstein destroyed their reputations.
Despite their parents' absence, Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice joined the royal family at Sandringham for their official Christmas walk.

Royal watchers initially believed Princess Beatrice was going to go on vacation to avoid choosing between King Charles III and Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor. However, the princess and Princess Eugenie presented a united front alongside the royal family.

King Charles III continues to include Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice in royal life despite stripping their father, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, of his titles.
"Whatever you think of their parents, Beatrice and Eugenie have not been accused of doing anything wrong," royal correspondent
Jennie Bond told
The Mirror. "They have had to watch their parents being humiliated and publicly criticized over many years, and yet they have remained close to the rest of the royal family."

"Their Grannie, the late Queen, showed them great affection and the King also seems keen to protect them," Jennie Bond continued. "So I think everyone would have been very welcoming at the Palace lunch."
