"My father is stuck on the 19th floor of a building in the Philippines after a massive earthquake and he can't walk and he is trapped," Meghan Markle's half-sister, Samantha Markle, wrote on X.
The United States Geological Survey reported the Philippines was hit with a 6.7-magnitude earthquake around the Eastern Visayas region.

Thomas Markle moved from Rosarito, Mexico, to the Philippines earlier this year to get a fresh start.
"Thomas and his son took the plunge and moved to Southeast Asia. It's been hard but they have each other," a source told the
New York Post.

"I wish I hadn't done the whole thing. They [the press] were making me an alcoholic, calling me names, talking about the way I dress," Thomas said on Good Morning Britain.
