In a video shared to
Instagram, Meghan Markle is seen preparing cocktails, decorations and food for the holidays. However, people were stunned that the Duchess of Sussex was handling a mix of batter with her bare hands.

Social media users expressed their outrage, with one Reddit user writing, "Again with the RINGS and FOOD! So gross! Take your rings off when you're cooking!"
"That part disgusts me the most. Meghan [Markle] won't wear gloves, fine. But she won't take off her jewelry and her hair is dangling everywhere," a second added.
A third penned, "As Ever, the Duchess of Salmonella doesn't take rules and regulations seriously. She's treating important food handling rules in the kitchen the same way she treated official royal/UK traditions… with utter contempt."
"Her hands in that puppy chow mix will never be forgotten," a fourth noted.
"I absolutely loathe her idea of food hygiene," a fifth said.

Meghan Markle was also criticized for sharing a holiday playlist in the same video. "All the sounds of the season [Christmas tree emoji]. Here is my personal list of favorite holiday songs on rotation in our home this time of year," she wrote in the caption. "Wishing you a safe and cozy Christmas! Enjoy!"
The track list included songs by Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra and Etta James.

Once again, the public trolled Meghan Markle for her musical taste. "Her playlist is EXACTLY what you think it would be," one person wrote on X.
"More try hard pick me music-she wants you to think her music taste is elevated and refined and that you couldn't understand the complexities of her preferences so just listen," a second person said.
"She is trying so hard to make 'cozy' her branding word… its so cringe," another added.
"She is a boomer," a fourth chimed in.
