Jeffrey Epstein's former staff member — a self-described "22-year-old divorcée working as a hostess in a hotel restaurant" — wrote that during her tour with Prince Andrew, she "had seen the private quarters of Buckingham Palace [and] sat on the queen of England's throne." She made the claim in the section of the infamous
birthday book titled "Assistants," which spanned pages 224 to 229.

Prince Andrew allegedly allowing someone to sit on Queen Elizabeth II's throne would be an explicit show of disrespect. "There's no way anyone would have sat on the thrones without being with Andrew and this shows he thinks there is one rule for him and one rule for everybody else. He feels he's entitled to do whatever he wants because he is a prince and is special but he is living in another century," royal expert Ingrid Seward said. "It's just another mark against his name. It shows such a lack of respect for his mother who bent over backwards for him."

Prince Andrew stepped down from his royal duties in 2020 and was stripped of his HRH status in 2022 due to his ties to Jeffrey Epstein. The late Virginia Giuffre accused the 65-year-old of abuse, but Andrew denied the claims, although he settled out of court with her after she brought a civil s***** assault case against him. "I don't think he has any public future. I would say his private future is pretty limited too," royal expert Andrew Lownie has said.
