According to royal author
Tom Bower's
book Revenge: Meghan, Harry, and the War Between the Windsors, the Duke of Sussex's pals allegedly called his now-wife a "total nightmare" when they were introduced to her before the couple's 2017 engagement.

Prince Harry's buddies first met Meghan Markle shortly after the pair went public with their romance for a shooting weekend at Sandringham.
Per the writer, the Duchess of Sussex confronted her then-beau's friends during the gathering after they made comments that did not meet her "wokery" standards.

"Harry must be f—— nuts," the author alleged one correspondence from one of the estranged royal's pals to another read. "She's a total nightmare."
