The Office of the Secretary of State claimed that there are 517 "potentially responsive records" from the Bureau of Consular Affairs, 271 from the Office of the Legal Advisor, and two from the Office of the Deputy Secretary of State regarding
Prince Harry's status in America. A judge in Washington, D.C., will now review the papers and make a decision about whether the information should be made public.

The right-wing think tank the Heritage Foundation filed a lawsuit requesting
Prince Harry's immigration records to determine if he lied about past drug use on his visa application. "I think we're going to see documents from Harry talking about the case, but other material may be withheld. Then it will be up to politicians whether that decision is overruled," the group's lawyer
