Grant Harrold, the late royal made a bold comment after the Duke and Duchess of Sussex exchanged vows in 2018.

Ex-staffer Grant Harrold claims in his new memoir that Prince Philip did not hold back after
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle tied the knot. "Once all the formalities were over, we watched as the happy couple and then the other members of the royal family filed out of the chapel," he writes, adding that "when Prince Philip came out, he turned to
[Queen Elizabeth II] and said, 'Thank f*** that's over.'"

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle married at St. George's Chapel at Windsor Castle in May 2018, with thousands of bystanders in the streets and millions of people watching across the globe. Less than two years later, the couple controversially announced they were exiting royal life and moving to the United States. Prince Philip died at 99 in 2021, and Queen Elizabeth II died at 96 in 2022.
