Prince William and Kate Middleton recently made a big move: applying for U.S. trademarks for their organizations, including the Royal Foundation of the Prince and Princess of Wales, The Earthshot Prize and Shaping Us.

Kate Middleton's Shaping Us program, which is geared toward children and their well-being, could expand to the other side of the pond. "Development and conducting of promotional campaigns; promoting public awareness in the field of childhood development; advisory, consultancy and information services in relation to the foregoing," the USPTO site states.

Prince William's Earthshot Prize, which works to alleviate the effects of climate change, might make a big splash overseas. "Printed matter, namely, books, brochures, magazines and newsletters in the field of nature conservation and protecting the environment; printed matter, namely, calendars, greeting cards and posters; photographs," the Earthshot Prize USPTO application states in regards to usage.

Prince William and Kate Middleton's Royal Foundation is working toward "development and conducting of promotional campaigns; advertising services, namely, promoting public awareness of mental health initiatives; all the aforesaid consisting of or relating to charitable activities in the field of mental health," per the statement.

"Printed matter, namely, books, pamphlets, periodicals, newsletters, magazines, informational brochures, and reports; paper banners and printed posters; all the aforesaid in relation to charitable activities in the field of mental health; printed race numbers," the Royal Foundation states in its application.
