Is Selma Blair engaged?
Notice anything extra sparkly about Selma Blair's left hand? Yep, us too. During a sunlit afternoon stroll with her boyfriend Ron Carlson this week in Los Angeles, Selma was wearing what looked like a huge sapphire ring on her left ring finger, according to the Daily Mail. If the bling came from Ron, the actress seems to be keeping what could be engagement news on the DL, just as she did when the pair started dating about two years ago. Don't send a card just yet, though. A quick peek at Selma's Instagram shows she's got a thing for rings — and frequently wears one on each ring finger.

Fans think Selena Gomez and The Weeknd have a collaboration in the works
As early as January, sources were telling TMZ Justin Bieber thought his ex, Selena Gomez, was using The Weeknd to help her promote new music by collaborating with her. "They started hanging as friends and it became romantic," a source told Us the same month. "They're working on very sexy music, so it spilled over." Justin's seeming sour grapes aside, fans are now saying Selena and her man really are working on a new project. According to E! News, chatter online has pointed to a production discography page for Swedish producer Max Martin on Wikipedia as evidence of a Selena-The Weeknd recording. Though the listing has been deleted, it reportedly credited The Weeknd as a featured performer on Selena's new, unreleased track, "In Her Element." Reps for the singers have not commented.

Was Marion Cotillard dropped from Dior?
The Cannes Film Festival is as much a celebration of fashion as it is a celebration of film. So when Marion Cotillard, who's represented Dior since 2008, arrived on the red carpet for the "Ismael's Ghosts" in a Chanel gown, rumors began to circulate suggesting the actress had parted ways with the iconic label. According to THR, the relationship didn't end on a happy note: "Sources say the Cotillard was unceremoniously dropped from the brand by new creative director Maria Grazia Chiuri," the website reported this week, adding that Maria "wants a newer, younger face for her reimagined brand." Though nothing has been confirmed, Dior's recent collaboration with Rihanna on their "We should all be feminists" T-shirts definitely bolsters the theory.

Drake wants a Celine Dion tattoo
Celine Dion may soon have the distinction of being honored on Drake's body alongside the likes of Sade, Aaliyah — and a can of Drakkar Noir. After Drizzy took home a record 13 Billboard awards on Sunday, May 21, he chatted with Celine backstage and shared a video of the hang on Instagram. When she congratulated him, he told her, "It means the world, you're very iconic. We love you," according to Us Weekly. He then declared, "I'm, like, a year away from a Celine tat." Celine's heart will go on … Drake's torso (sorry, that was too easy).

She's just a couple of months into her new role as a mom and Amanda Seyfried couldn't be happier. "Man, I love being a mother," she told E! News this week. "I love my family so much." Kate Mara dishes on falling for Jamie Bell
When husband and wife to-be Kate Mara and Jamie Bell's relationship went public in 2015, the same year they starred together in "Fantastic Four," it seemed like a logical assumption that they'd met and found romance on the set. Not quite. As Kate explained to Andy Cohen this week, the couple's relationship was a bit more drawn out — like, a decade. "We didn't meet on 'Fantastic Four.' We met like 10 years before," she said, according to Us Weekly. "We did a screen test together and we had to kiss and it was very — I had to kiss many guys that day for the screen test." Though neither got the job that day, Jamie's kiss turned out to be the one that stuck. They finished filming "Fantastic Four" many years later and then, Kate said, "We fell in love on the press tour." Nothing says love like 30 days of jet lag and junkets.
America Ferrera explains why she started competing in triathlons
Activist, producer and actress America Ferrera recently revealed to Vulture that she had a pretty serious fear of public speaking before her moving talk at the Women's March in January. As she explains in the July issue of Triathlete magazine, she was harboring fear when it came to her body for many years, too. "This relationship of being disappointed in our bodies is a relationship that I started at a very young age, whether that's because of the culture around me or the points of views that I was exposed to," she said (via Celebitchy). America wanted to change that, so she joined Nautica Malibu Triathlon with Team in Training with the goal of raising money for Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. "I think recently in the past few years of my life I've started noticing a pattern of when something scares me, that's an indication that I should do it," she said. "Why I think triathlons have changed my relationship to myself is because the whole sport is about going further than you think you can go, living at the threshold and pushing yourself to the place where you feel like, 'I never thought I could be here and I certainly thought I couldn't go further.' It's at that threshold that you have the opportunity to choose something new which could just be to be nice to yourself in that moment, to acknowledge yourself in that moment."

Bono shares the best advice Bruce Springsteen ever gave him
The way Jimmy Kimmel sees it, a U2 show is a "religious experience" comparable only to seeing Bruce Springsteen live. He offered the compliment to the band on Tuesday, May 23, during their appearance on his show. He then asked if U2 feels "a kinship" to Bruce (via Vulture). They do, Bono acknowledged. In fact, Bono said he once asked the Boss for his "best advice." Bono left a pregnant pause when Jimmy asked what the advice was. "Don't do television," Bono said in a hushed voice. "Don't ever listen to him," Jimmy joked. After the crowd's laughter simmered down, Bono explained what Bruce meant. According to Bono, Bruce warned him, "Don't give other people the ability to turn you up or down." There's your moment of meta for the week …
