Musk Calls for Mass Arrests at 'Fake Charities'

DOGE head Elon Musk recently called for legal action to be taken against non-government organizations, as the tech billionaire works to trim annual government spending by $1 trillion to create a deficit.

"With respect to the non-governmental organizations, these sort of fake NGOs, I think there needs to be a number of arrests," Musk said in an interview on The Five.
"These are fake charities [run by] mostly Democrats. … There's sometimes a little bit of Republican in there because they sometimes throw the Republicans a bone to say, 'Hey, be quiet about this.' So that's where you start getting the uniparty thing going on," he continued.

The Republican party has been critical of Joe Biden's administration for helping non-governmental organizations (NGOs).
"But it is overwhelmingly to Democrats, and they give these billions of dollars to NGOs run by Democrats that then go through a whole network of additional NGOs — it's a giant money laundering scheme," Musk alleged.
"Really at this point, I think the word NGO and money laundering are almost synonymous," he added.

Elon Musk later branded past government spending as a form of inequity.
"The wheels of justice turn slowly, but surely," Musk said. "I have a maniacal sense of urgency."

While Elon Musk didn't specify which NGOs were corrupt, several Republicans have thrown jabs at one associated with Stacey Abrams.
Joe Biden's administration gave a $2 billion environmental grant to a consortium of organizations affiliated with Abrams.
However, the gubernatorial candidate has asserted that she didn't personally benefit or profit from the donation.

Elon Musk also shared that the con artist who stole 400,000 Social Security numbers will be held accountable.
"I believe someone is going to be arrested tomorrow — because there's someone who actually stole 400,000 Social Security numbers and personal information from the Social Security database," the businessman revealed.
"Selling Social Security numbers and all the identification information in order for people to basically steal money from Social Security," he continued.

Elon Musk later claimed that Social Security theft could create larger security issues.

"A particular avenue of fraud for like illegal immigrants and for voter fraud, because the main way that identification is established in the United States is via Social Security," he said.
"So, if you compromise a Social Security system, you can basically get people to get de facto registered to vote, even if they're not citizens, and to get a bunch of benefits," Musk added.
