"I know he's going through a lot of personal stuff right now, but he's super-professional and doesn't bring any of it to work," Eva La Rue told Us at an ESPN Deportes event for the Miami Dolphins' Latino owners in Miami on Sunday.
La Rue, who plays a DNA analyst on the CBS drama, previously worked with Cibrian, 36, on Third Watch, in which they played a married couple. "I know he's a great guy," she told Us of the star, adding that it has been "really fun" working on the series' eighth season.
Will Rimes guest star on the show?"I don't know," La Rue said, laughing.
Although La Rue, 42, told Us Cibrian hasn't yet brought Rimes to the set, the country singer, 27, has gotten closer to his estranged wife Brandi Glanville, who is mother to the couple's sons Mason, 6, and Jake, 2.
"I have a new neighbor, and her name is LeAnn Rimes," Glanville, 36, told Us last week. "She's moved in a half-mile from my house and a block from my son's school. So she is completely space invading me at the moment, so things are not cool."
