The premiere of The Office spinoff is not far away!After Peacock announced the continuation of the beloved NBC comedy series, with the launch of The Paper, the new show is set to hit the platform on Thursday, September 4, with new episodes dropping every Thursday through September 25.

The Paper will have the same mockumentary style that The Office exhibited. In a homage to the original series, the same documentary film crew that featured Dunder Mifflin's Scranton office will follow a historic Midwestern newspaper as a publisher tries to revamp it.Oscar Nuñez — who played Oscar Martinez on the original NBC comedy — will return for the spinoff.
The Office's original creator Greg Daniels and his company Deedle-Dee Productions will also be heading up the new series. Ricky Gervais, Stephen Merchant, Howard Klein, Ben Silverman and Banijay Americas (formerly Reveille) will serve as executive producers.

The Paper will feature Domhnall Gleeson and Sabrina Impacciatore of White Lotus fame. Joining them will be Chelsea Frei, Melvin Gregg, Gbemisola Ikumelo, Alex Edelman, Ramona Young and Tim Key.Making appearances as guest stars will be Tracy Letts, Molly Ephraim, Mo Welch, Allan Havey, Duane Shepard Sr., Nate Jackson and Nancy Lenehan.

The Office ran on NBC from 2005 until 2013. During its run, the series picked up five Primetime Emmy Awards.The comedy launched the careers of Hollywood mainstays such as Steve Carrell, John Krasinski, Mindy Kaling, B.J. Novak and Rainn Wilson.
