In the social media post shared on Sunday, January 26, the television personality said "it's a pretty high-risk mission that we're going on."
"You've never been deported before?" Dr. Phil asked the man while he was being arrested.
"You're Dr. Phil?!" the man asked. "You look like Dr. Phil."
"Yeah?!" the psychologist responded. "How do you know me?"
"I seen you on Dr. Phil," the man replied.

Dr. Phil is aligning himself with Donald Trump's border czar, Tom Homan, who is committed to carrying out nationwide deportations.
"The problem that we have with some of the pushback that ICE has been getting from sanctuary cities is they're saying, no, we don't want to cooperate with you," Dr. Phil said in a follow-up video.
"We don't want to give you access to some of the people that we may have arrested that may be in jails," he added. "You need to go get warrants and we may give bail to these people. We may have a no bail situation and have them in for a time and turn them back out."

Dr. Phil isn't an ICE employee or a member of Trump's cabinet, but he implied that he will continue to assist Homan on carrying out the president's vision for the country.
"It's a controlled environment," he shared. "Whereas tomorrow, later today actually, we're going to have to go after these people out in a in a free environment where an apartment complex or an apartment project where there are a lot of civilians around."
