Zach Braff and Donald Faison's on-screen bromance will continue as they navigate a new climate at Sacred Heart Hospital on the Scrubs reboot. "JD and Turk scrub in together for the first time in a long time — medicine has changed, interns have changed, but their bromance has stood the test of time," the show's official logline reads. "Characters new and old navigate the waters of Sacred Heart with laughter, heart and some surprises along the way."

Tim Hobert and Aseem Batra have joined the Scrubs reboot as showrunners and executive producers. Series creator Bill Lawrence will also executive produce the new project. "Scrubs means so very much to me. So excited for the chance to get the band back together," he said in a statement.

While Scrubs was popular during its 10-year run, fans of the series had a mixed response to the reboot news. "This was a sacred show and should be left alone," one user wrote on X. Another said, "I'm sorry, season 9 killed any desire for me to revisit this show."

Some fans are fearful that the changes in culture over the past 15 years could impact the series. "Scrubs was great because it wasn't woke," one fan wrote on X. "Odds are it'll be a kinder, gentler, and way less funny version, but I sure hope I'm wrong."

While some social media users were reluctant to support the reboot, others were enthusiastic about the prospect of more Scrubs. "No way that's incredible news! Seeing the original Scrubs cast back together is pure nostalgia," one fan wrote on X. "Can't wait for the laughs (and the tears) again."
