On Monday, March 17, Donald Trump took his first tour of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts as the chair of the board.And it's safe to say the president didn't like what he had to see.

Donald Trump shared his concerns with reporters following his visit to the Kennedy Center: "We're here to have our first board meeting, Kennedy Center, and it's in tremendous disrepair," he said, according to NPR. "As is a lot of the rest of our country, most of it because of bad management."_
Donald Trump, who built a career in real estate, didn't approve of the Kennedy Center's infrastructure."I think it's important to save this structure and this building," Trump said. "I think maybe we close up some of the work that's been done and built because it was done terribly. It was done terribly. The concept was very bad."

Many stars have canceled gigs at the Kennedy Center over its new ties to Donald Trump.Issa Rae, for example, announced that she was no longer using the Kennedy Center for a March appearance.
"Unfortunately, due to what I believe to be an infringement on the values of an institution that has faithfully celebrated artists of all backgrounds through all mediums, I've decided to cancel my appearance at this venue," the actress said in a February social media post, according to CBS.
