While talking with former White House strategist Steve Bannon, Bill O'Reilly revealed exactly where he stands on DEI: "I'm fine with diversity, okay? I agree with [James] Carville on diversity. It's a strength," the former Fox News host said."I'm fine with inclusion. I think everybody should have an equal pathway to pursue happiness. I hate equity because equity then favors one group or gender over another," O'Reilly pointed out.
The Republican media personality also noted Donald Trump's stance on the matter: "Donald Trump, the president, was very clear on NewsNation tonight that he does not want that — that if you are going to be admitted to a school or accepted for a job, you do it on merit, not on gender or skin color," he said.

Steve Bannon claimed Donald Trump's position on diversity is largely misunderstood by the public."I agree with him 100%. But hang on, he also went out of his way to make sure that historic Black colleges and universities were well-financed and had a sound financial footing, right?" he said. "So people get opportunities and get access to college. President Trump has gone out of his way to do that. President Trump is somebody for every American. It's about being an American citizen and he's fighting for that every day."

Since Donald Trump retook office in January, he's continued to dismantle diversity and inclusion programs that have been championed by Democrats and people on the left."We have ended the tyranny of so-called diversity, equity and inclusion policies all across the entire federal government and, indeed, the private sector and our military," the Republican leader said during a joint session of congress in March. "And our country will be woke no longer."

During a discussion with Chris Cuomo, Bill O'Reilly and Stephen A. Smith at the NewsNation town hall, Donald Trump called in and answered questions about his first few months back in office."I got a studio audience question from Lee Shapiro. Lee's a tough guy. Lee says, 'What's the biggest mistake you think you've made in your first 100 days?'" O'Reilly asked Trump.
"I'll tell you, that's the toughest question I could have because I don't really believe I've made mistakes," the commander-in-chief said, prompting the studio audience to howl with laughter.
