According to the Air Force, multiple private aircrafts strayed too close to Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster — and were escorted away. Some of the planes were guided out of the restricted zone by F-16 fighter jets from the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD). "NORAD and the FAA aim to keep the skies over America safe, with close attention paid to areas with Temporary Flight Restrictions to ensure flight safety, national security, and the security of the President," said Gen. Gregory Guillot.

To alert the pilots, fighter jets performed a maneuver known as a "headbutt," which involves cutting across the front of the aircraft to create air turbulence — rattling the plane to grab their attention. This marked the 11th airspace violation near President Donald Trump's golf club this weekend, raising growing concern over repeated interceptions. Gen. Gregory Guillot urged pilots, "Should the pilot of an aircraft happen to find itself intercepted by either fighters or helicopters, they should immediately come up on frequency 121.5 or 243.0 and turn around to reverse course until receiving additional instructions on one of those frequencies."
