Just last month, Joe Rogan sat down with Kash Patel to discuss the Jeffrey Epstein files. Looking back on it, the podcast host now says Patel's claims didn't make "any sense." Said Rogan, "The Epstein stuff is so crazy, because when Kash Patel was on here and he was like, 'There's no — there's nothing,' I was like, 'What are you talking about?' … Yeah, I didn't even know what to say."

Joe Rogan later added that after the episode aired, fans of the show were left with more questions than answers. "People were like, why didn't you push back more? My thought was like, 'I'm just going to put this out there and let the internet do its work because there's nothing I could — the guy's saying there's no tapes, there's no video,'" he said. Upon further reflection, Rogan says that Kash Patel's statements just didn't add up. "That doesn't make any sense. Everyone knows it doesn't make any sense," he argued.

Shortly after the episode aired, the FBI released a memo corroborating that there is no hard evidence of a Jeffrey Epstein "client list" or blackmail material. Earlier this year, Attorney General Pam Bondi had suggested otherwise, telling Fox News the alleged Epstein files were "sitting on my desk right now to review." Bondi later clarified that she wasn't referring to a list of names but to the Epstein case report itself.
