Because Donald Trump is barred by the Constitution from running for president again, Republicans will have to choose his successor to represent the party. Per the same survey, current Vice President J.D. Vance has 42% support from conservative voters. Trailing far behind him is Florida Governor Ron DeSantis at 9%. Other contenders for the right-wing nomination are Secretary of State Marco Rubio (7%), former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley (6%), Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. (5%) and businessman Vivek Ramaswamy (4%).
