Johnny Depp has long battled a serious addiction to accessories. His love of scarves, bracelets, hats and pretty much whatever can be purchased in the gift shop of a Santa Fe artists' colony knows no bounds, so color us unsurprised that the newly engaged star is already sporting a bauble on his ring finger.
Depp, 50, briefly flashed a signet-style ring while strolling hand-in-hand with fiancée Amber Heard, 27, on Saturday in New York. It's apparently the same ring he wore at the couple's recent engagement party, and wedding bible TheKnot.com has dubbed it a "man-gagement ring."
That shudder-inducing label aside, the band was the least curious part of his ensemble, which consisted of frayed, paint-splattered jeans, a stained coat and a hole-filled fedora. Curiously, he also carried a hard drive in his right hand (click on to see).
At least Johnny coordinated his scarf with Heard, who, in contrast to his scruffy sartorial statement, was well put together in a gorgeous camel coat, blue statement bag and black oxfords. She happily kept her behemoth sparkler front and center.
No word on when the "old soul" pair are planning to walk down the aisle, but judging by the rate they're moving, it'll likely be sooner rather than later.
