Blake Lively returned to the New York set of "Gossip Girl" on Monday, a little more than a week after she quietly became the second Mrs. Ryan Reynolds. And while shutterbugs were on hand to welcome her back, the starlet, 25, didn't give them a clear view of her all-important ring finger.
But it was a different story the morning after her surprise Sept. 9 nuptials in Mount Pleasant, S.C., when she conspicuously debuted her doorknob-sized engagement ring for paparazzi as she kissed and cuddled with her new hubby.
Her massive, egg-shaped sparkler is certainly eye-catching, sitting as it does atop a delicate, diamond-encrusted band. Smaller diamonds dot her dainty wedding ring, which will likely be her bauble of choice for every day (otherwise, she'll be tilting to one side from the sheer weight of the rock).
"Ryan chose Lorraine Schwartz to help him find a flawless, light pink oval diamond," says a spokesman for the jeweler (via People). "They worked together to design a custom setting in rose-gold and pave diamonds with a nod to deco."
The nuptials themselves were less deco and more down-home, with a pine needle-covered aisle, treats such as s'mores and typically schmoopy music (Blake walked down the aisle to -- Velveeta alert -- "Can't Take My Eyes Off You").
Before returning to work, foodie Blake enjoyed a memorable meal with Ryan. On Saturday, the Washington Post spotted the newlyweds at the swanky, culinary-acclaimed Inn at Little Washington, where they chowed down on a late dinner at a secluded table near the hotel's garden. Their fellow guests reportedly left them alone.
The couple's knot-tying will get the exclusive treatment in the December issue of Martha Stewart Living.
