Oh, OK! magazine, you never fail to entertain us. Case in point: This week's cover story, which claims Ryan Reynolds is offering longtime pal Sandra Bullock "a second chance at love -- and motherhood."
See, according to a source, the Oscar-winning actress "would love nothing more" than to give 19-month-old son Louis a brother or sister, and "Ryan could be her ticket to having a child of her own!"
Which, if we're not mistaken, is what Louis already is -- Sandra's own child. But, hey, OK! says potato, we say insensitive, cheese-stuffed po-tah-to.
The tab's story apparently has even Bullock slapping her forehead, because she went to "Entertainment Tonight" to shoot down the speculation.
For good measure, she also points out that she's not pregnant or planning to adopt again anytime soon.
And as for claims that Bullock plans to name Reynolds as a backup guardian and that he plans to adopt the tot, she assures "ET" that the rumors are so much fried baloney (although she said it in a much more ladylike fashion).
On the plus side, we still mightily enjoy the OK! source's romantic way with words, including this gem: "Out of the blue, here comes this guy who she's known for 10 years and loves dearly already and he just answers all of her prayers. She's gone from unlucky in love to beyond blessed and she's ready to have it all with him."
