Curtains and linens in the $27,000-a-month New York City pad caught fire from a lit candle. Courtney was evicted from the building -- which, according to its listing, is "made for luxury living and entertaining" -- a few months later. But apparently, this wasn't the Hole front woman's first brush with a fiery death. The singer's estranged daughter, Frances Bean Cobain, claimed in court documents that her mom "often falls asleep in her bed while she is smoking, and I am constantly worried that she will start a fire (which she has done at least three times) that will threaten our lives."
