Elizabeth Banks: Having Two Kids Is Exhausting
Elizabeth Banks became a mom for the second time in November when her son, Magnus, joined the family, and his arrival changed the actress' perspective on parenting. "You don't realize how easy one is until you have two. Now I'm really a mom … This is for serious -- I am responsible for two people now," says Banks, whose first son, Felix, arrived via surrogate in 2011. She adds that the new responsibility hit home on a recent 10-day vacation during which her lack of paid childcare assistance (gasp) ruined her manicure. "[We] had no help, no nannies, no babysitters. It was crazy," the "Hunger Games" actress tells People. "You forget how difficult it is to wake up in the middle of the night, how exhausting it is. I lost all my nails. I did dishes and cleaned bottles for 10 days, so I lost all those nails." Oh, the price of motherhood. (Jezebel)
